About the Taskforce
The Taskforce is an independent body of five (5) Tangata Tiriti and five (5) Tangata Whenua community people. It was established in 2003 mandated to continue the work developed by the joint community sector and government working parties (2000 - 2002) to develop the relationship between government and the sector. The Taskforce is primarily funded by the Office of the Community and Voluntary Sector under the direction of the Hon Tariana Turia.
